Who We Are

Mission Statement

We, the Returned Peace Corps Volunteers of Los Angeles (RPCVLA), are a non-profit corporation composed of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers residing in or near the greater Los Angeles area. Together we share a commitment to promoting cross-cultural awareness and international development.

Our mission is to build and maintain an active team of Returned Peace Corps Volunteers for community service and social interaction. Additionally, we aim to inform the community as to the goals and accomplishments of the Peace Corps.

We are an affiliate of the National Peace Corps Association (NPCA).

NPCA is the nonprofit alumni network at the center of a vibrant community of over 220,000 people who share the Peace Corps experience. NPCA champions lifelong commitment to Peace Corps ideals by connecting, engaging and promoting its members and affiliate groups as they continue to make a difference in communities in the U.S. and abroad.
